Primary School Basketball
The stadium is back open and basketball for Grade 3/4 and Grade 5/6 is on tonight as normal
SOCCER INFORMATION
Primary School soccer information and soccer tops have been sent home with students this afternoon, apart from Under 9's they will be sent home tomorrow afternoon..
Students in the Under 5 and Under 10's will be wearing Hillcerst tops and can be collected before the start of the game on Saturday morning.
Students who receive a Devonport Primary School socer top are requested to bring $10 cash to the School office before the end of term.
CONGRATULATIONS & FAREWELL MRS CLARKE
It is with mixed feelings that we share with our school community the retirement news of our amazing Mrs Helen Clarke. Helen will finish her time here at DPS at the end of this term.
On behalf of the school community, I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Mrs Clarke for all the years (nearly 24!) of support, kindness, knowledge, wisdom, guidance, innovative thinking and fun you have given to students, staff and families over this time. We sure will miss you and your ever present positivity around our school! Although we will miss you, we all wish you the very best as you venture into the next chapter of your life. Travelling, spending time with your family and relaxing are all certainly things you will love to do… and hopefully calling in and saying hello to us all from time to time.
Today students farewelled Mrs Clarke at a special assembly where a lovely handmade quilt was presented to her. All students across the school created a patch that was sewn together as a memento of her time with us.
Congratulations on the wonderful contribution you have made to our school, you have made a positive difference to the lives of so many, thank you and our very best wishes for the future!
